*Sailboat Bay Weather Advisory*
There is an area of interest the National Hurricane Center is monitoring currently located off the east coast of Florida. It is not yet well organized, but may coalesce into a Tropical Depression from Wednesday to later in the week. This area of interest will have thunderstorms embedded in the circulation and rainfall of 1-3 inches generally throughout the area.
We expect that strong gusty winds and wind-driven rain may occur late Wednesday/early Thursday through Friday. We may see the water level in the Marina rise a bit, especially at high tide. Prudent actions to take would include checking all mooring lines to ensure they can adapt to water levels over the finger piers, removing furniture from balconies, collecting light objects (such as pillows and flags) from boats and balconies that would be tossed around by strong wind gusts.
